The Sea Urchins reach out to Korda - wondering if she has any contacts in Gauntlgrym who they might be able to connect with in search of gear as they prepare to approach Thay from below. Korda sends Philbert.
Gauntlgrym is a dwarven city, and so Philbert's first and most noticeable trait is that he's a dark elf. Being surrounded by dwarves gives him the impression of some height. We chat with Philbert, filling him in on our nebulous plans, and in exchange he offers some of his own history and some particularly useful gear and guidance.

Phil's information:
Best of all, Philbert has something that can help us with Thay's brutal Willbreaker Cord: he provides a trio of amulets, black iron and silver formed over a hollow chamber. Calamity Amulets. They function to block the enchantment Lady Valaris has cast over the nation. When properly channeled by using a strong memory of grief or rage, they provide a protective aura to others nearby (10ft). There are limits to how long any single person may power a Calamity Amulet, and ignoring these limits will result in exhaustion. They will need to be passed around, but for the time being they are being held by Frick, Trys, and Temin.
